Spider-Man: Miles Morales brings plenty of new elements to the table alongside what it carries over from the series’ first entry. There are new graphical features, side mission types, and story development galore, expanding on what the series has to offer. With this in mind, you wouldn’t be blamed if you found yourself wondering: Is there split-screen multiplayer in Miles Morales?
Well, for better or worse, we have the answer you’re looking for.
Is There Split-Screen Multiplayer in Miles Morales? Answered
To put it bluntly, no, there is no split-screen multiplayer in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Like Spider-Man 2018 before it, the game is a single player experience through and through. players are given control of Miles alone and cannot bring a friend into the experience for the main mission, side missions or general exploration of the city.
It’s a bit of a bummer, but not surprising for anyone who has kept up with the game’s development. Developer Insomniac Games made no mention of the title including multiplayer elements, and has made no mention of it being an intended feature.
Will the Game Ever Have Split-Screen Multiplayer?
as for whether Split-Screen Mutliplayer might come to Spider-Man: Miles Morales at a later time, the chances are next to zero.
As stated above, Insomniac hasn’t made any mention of a mutliplayer mode being in development or even being considered. Along with the fact that 2018’s Spider-Man game never received a mode for more than one player, this leaves the chances of the most recent entry breaking that ground almost non-existent.
Hopefully this cleared up whether or not there’s split-screen multiplayer in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. For more on the game, check out some of our other guides. They have info on a variety of topics like how long it takes to beat and how to sprint and run faster.
