How to Redeem Deluxe Items in Mass Effect: Andromeda

Recommended Videos

Mass Effect: Andromeda is finally out with a variety of versions available. If you picked up the deluxe edition of the game, you’ll have been given a code to redeem some deluxe items for your adventure across this new galaxy. Of course, like with most DLC, there seems to be a little confusion on how to redeem deluxe items in Mass Effect: Andromeda. There also seems to be an issue of the items not appearing, so let us help you through the process.

First, redeem your deluxe items code just as you would with any other code. Simply head to the PlayStation or Xbox Store, select the redeem code option, and enter the digits. Once you’ve done this, and confirmed the download, start the game and play through until you’re able to explore the Tempest.

From here, you want to make your way to your personal quarters and interact with the “Special Orders/ Acquisitions” terminal next to SAM’s terminal. Your items should be here, but some users are finding that nothing is appearing.

If this is the case, you’ll want to try restoring the license. To do this on PS4, head to system settings, PlayStation Network/ Account Management and then Restore Licenses. In most cases, this seems to have fixed the problem with Mass Effect: Andromeda’s deluxe items.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to simply restore licenses on Xbox One. However, if you’re having this same problem on Microsoft’s system, try uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and the deluxe items content. If this fails to work, we advise getting in contact with Microsoft.
