Injustice 2: How to Get Darkseid

How to Unlock Darkseid in Injustice 2

Recommended Videos

Injustice 2 introduces a lot of new characters to the roster including the likes of Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd, and Brainiac. There’s another powerful villain who you can come across while playing the game, but isn’t playable when you put the disc in (or download the game if that’s more your thing). That character is Darkseid, whose imposing stance and powerful abilities make him a true force to be reckoned with. You can face off against him in any of the multiverse events, but he doesn’t show up during the story, and he’s indicated as a blurry spot on the character select screen.

Unlike other fighters, such as Brainiac, Darkseid isn’t actually available to unlock in the game by normal means. The only way to obtain Darkseid in Injustice 2 is to have pre-ordered the game and received the promotion code that grants early access to him. If you didn’t pre-order, then you must wait until he becomes available as DLC. If NetherRealm Studios handles this similarly to how they dealt with Goro in Mortal Kombat X, you may find yourself waiting for a long time. Unfortunately, you have no other option.
