Recommended Videos

Let’s be real, everyone loves changing their character costumes in video games. It’s one of those cool customization options that helps make the adventure feel that tiny little bit more personal to you. Or maybe you just hate the default clothes can’t stand to look at them for much longer? Either way, having the option to change outfits is always welcomed, and Hyrule Warriors Switch also has the ability to do just that.

In order to change costumes in Hyrule Warriors Switch, you’ll first need to make sure you’ve unlocked some costumes for your characters. For us, we found that we already had some for Link almost immediately. When you know you’ve got some other costumes to change into in Hyrule Warriors Switch, you’re going to want to select the level you want to play in any mode. At the character select screen, select the character you want to change costumes for and press X. This will then bring up a list of all outfits you have for that particular character. So, for example, for Link, we had the Hero’s Clothes, Trainee Tunic, and Era of the Wilds Tunic.

Simply select the costume that you want to change into and press A to confirm your choice. Now proceed through Hyrule Warriors Switch’s menus as you normally would and get slicing through those enemies in your new threads.

That’s all you need to know to change outfits in Hyrule Warriors Switch. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
