Scorn Crane Puzzle Solution

The first thing you need to do in the room you find yourself in after using the control panel is go right toward the large door (as shown below).

The door will be locked and you will not yet be able to open it. No need to worry. Head directly right of the door under the open archway. Continue walking through the grotesque tunnel until you enter a room with what we can describe only as an alien scooping machine. It sort of looks like those ice cream scoopers, right?

Ignore the scoop and the chair underneath it. Head toward the elevator platform to the right instead.

Approaching the Crane Puzzle

Press the button on the platform to go up a level. When you reach the opening on the floor above, continue to go straight through the tunnel until you reach the huge open room as shown in the image below.

This is where you will be completing the crane puzzle. Approach the contraption in the center that you can interact with to start it. This is not the correct contaption just yet, so go to the right of it to use the other control panel.

Completing the Crane Puzzle

Now that you have access to the panel that controls the crane, you can move it around and in turn move the pods on the wall. You will need to solve this puzzle by focusing on the lit pod in the top left area of the wall. Finally, something that vaguely resembles guidance!

The goal of the crane puzzle is to drop and break the first pod toward the bottom with the two lights on it and then drop the similar looking pod beside it. First you need to get the breakable pod to the drop. This is the lit up one to the left. Getting this one over to the left corner is quite easy.

Afterward, you need to get the correct, non-breakable pod to the drop. To do this, move every other pod to the right side so that you can move the correct one over to the top left. The solution is shown below. This is how your crane puzzle should look in the end before you activate the pod’s drop with the other control panel.

Activating the Pod Drop

Now that the correct pod is in the correct position, you need to leave the control panel you are on for the crane and instead move back to the one in the center. This crane will lift the pod from where you placed it to reveal some sort of alien creature dangling from within it. It will then slowly lower the pod indicating that you should also take the elevator platform back down now.

When you are ready to head back to the large room below, you will need to solve the next puzzle. This will be the minecart puzzle. That’s all you need to know about how to solve the crane puzzle in Scorn. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
