Almost every Assassin’s Creed game is now playable on modern day consoles. With the Ezio Collection and remaster of Rogue releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One over the last couple of years, the only Assassin’s Creed games we were waiting to see a return of were 3 and the original. However, soon, the original will be only entry we’re waiting for. That’s because you’ll soon be able to get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on your current generation console.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered was revealed as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Season Pass. However, it will be available at a later date as a standalone release. It’s coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC in March 2019, whether you’re getting it from the Season Pass or standalone.

How to Get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered as Part of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass

If you’re attempting to get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered as part of your Season Pass, you simply need to redeem the code that came with your physical copy of the Gold Edition or higher. Check out our guide on all the editions of Odyssey to see if your version came with the Season Pass. If you bought one of those versions digitally, your Season Pass should be automatically activated and you’ll be able to get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered from your platform’s store at no additional cost.

Alternatively, you can buy the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass separately. You’ll still get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered and all the DLC for the new game if you do so. You can buy the Season Pass anytime from now onwards, and it’ll set you back $39.99. Then, once Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered releases, you can download it.

How to Get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered as a Standalone

Of course, if you do not want to get the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass or have only bought the standard edition of the game, you will likely want to get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered when it releases as a standalone game. It is due to release as it’s own game sometime in March 2019. However, the final date is yet to be confirmed. We will be sure to update you once the game’s releases date and price have been finalized.

Assassin’s Creed 3 originally released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. It saw the series move away from Ezio and the Italian story told in 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. Instead, it follows Connor Kenway, a new assassin in the series. The game was also set during the American Revolution, which was a new time period for the series. It was a more expansive game, with rural areas as well as cities.
