Once again, a new Call of Duty is taking part in a collaboration with Mountain Dew. As with years before, purchasing specially labeled Mountain Dew products will award purchasers with codes that unlock things like double XP or cosmetics. The confusing part of it might be how to actually redeem the codes you get, but that’s where we come in. Here’s how to redeem your mountain dew double XP and cosmetic codes in Modern Warfare 2.

Where to Redeem Modern Warfare 2 Mountain Dew Codes

As it turns out, you can’t redeem the codes on the Activision site or in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (even when it launches). Instead, there are other steps you’ll have to follow if you want those sweet Mountain Dew rewards.

  1. With your code in hand go to mtndewgaming.com.

  2. Enter your Activision account credentials to be able to apply the code to your account.

  3. With the codes applied to your Activision account, you will be gifted your double XP and items upon starting the game at launch.

    All codes must be redeemed before they expire on March 23, 2023.
