How to Appear Offline on Valorant With Deceive

Here's what you need to know about installing Deceive for Valorant.

Riot Games’ tactical shooter is arguably at its best when you’re playing with friends, but sometimes you just want to get your head down and grind solo. If that’s something you’d prefer to do privately, though, there’s actually not an in-game option to appear offline. Thankfully, there is a third-party program that allows you to do so. How To Appear Offline on Valorant With Deceive

If you’re sure that you want to use Deceive to appear offline, follow these steps to install the program and get it up and running on your PC.

Of course, the first step is to actually download the program, which you can do from GitHub.

  1. With Deceive downloaded, right-click on the .exe file and click ‘Properties’

  2. After you click ‘Properties’ the field name ‘Target’ will appear. Add a space after ‘.exe’ and type ‘Valorant’

  3. Confirm that by pressing enter and then run Deceive.

With Deceive up and running you can launch Valorant and check that it’s working properly. You’ll know it is when you look over your friends list and see an entry called “Deceive Active,” which indicates the program is active. Nobody will be able to see you online now.
