How to Unlock Cecilia Garden in Genshin Impact

To unlock Cecilia Garden in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to first progress to a certain point in the game.

Specifically, you’ll need to have completed the first few quests in the game which give you access to your first three party members. Once you do, you’ll be able to explore more parts of the world in order to complete quests and gain Adventure Rank experience.

Progress to this point in the game, and once more of the map becomes explorable, head toward the Wolvendom region found to the West of Mondstadt. The Statue of the Seven needed to illuminate the map can be found to the West of the Windrise statue, and once used will reveal Cecilia Garden as a padlock icon to the Northwest.

How to Solve Cecilia Garden Puzzle

Upon Cecilia Garden in Genshin Impact, you’ll then need to solve a few puzzles to unlock the zone proper.

Fortunately, this isn’t to hard to do. Scattered around the area are Seelies you’ll need to guide back to their altars, which are all found in front of the garden entrance. One needs you to break the stones covering its altar, and will return to it as soon as they’re broken. The second needs you to kill the enemies cornering it, while the third requires you to drop down into an area sealed by a wind barrier and deactivate its power source.

The final Seelie can be found behind a destructible wall to the Northeast of the altars. You’ll know you’ve found it when you see a shock crystal to the left of some cracked rocks.

Once you’ve helped each Seelie return to its altar, a short cutscene will play and Cecilia Garden will be open to you. Or at least, it will once you’ve obtained an Adventure Rank of 16. If you still have a few ranks to go until you reach this level, then our guide on how to increase your Adventure Rank can help speed up the process.

Once you’ve unlocked Cecilia Garden in Genshin Impact, you’ll have gained access to a valuable part of the game.

The Garden is an Abyssal Domain, which acts as a dungeon where you can obtain ascension materials. These allow you to improve your characters and weapons, increasing their overall stats and allowing them to be leveled up further than you could without said materials.

The enemies inside can be a challenge to overcome though, so be prepared for a fight if you choose to delve into its depths.
