7 Games Like Killer Queen Black If You’re Looking for Something Similar

Duck Game

Looking for a game like Killer Queen Black… but with more Ducks? Then Duck Game is for you.

In this 2D action title, you’ll compete against AI or your friends in a one-shot one-kill battle royale.

While that might sound pretty straightlaced, its varied gameplay features make the game stand out.

Whether its guns, modifiers, or even cute hats, Duck Game has a lot of different things that’ll affect the way you play, making competition more enjoyable and distinct.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that the game has its own Quack button?

Black & White Bushido

Of all of the arena brawl games out there, Black & White Bushido is likely the most unique one you’ll find.

Instead of the usual brawl-centric mindset that accompanies most competitive arena brawl games, this title focuses more on stealth.

Using its black and white color scheme, players blend into the background color of whatever team they’re on with the hopes of ambushing the other.

End up on the opposing color and you’ll stand out like a sore thumb, meaning a shuriken or sword thrust is likely about to kill you.

Compete with up to four players in Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag, or even give single-player a go to try and get the high score.

Towerfall Ascension

Towerfall Ascension is chaotic archery at its finest, as you and three other friends battle it out on a 2D map to determine an overall winner.

Using a handful of arrows, powerups, and level knowledge, each archer tries to be the last one standing each round, racking up kills that go toward an overall kill meter at the same time.

Skill can only get you so far though, as Towerfall Ascension uses a similar map design to that of Killer Queen Black.

Thanks to the confined square each round takes place in, players can flee through one side of the map and come out the opposite side, usually allowing them to escape or get the drop on someone else.

As such, you can see how you’d be winning one moment and then cornered the next.

Nidhogg 2

Killer Queen Black

Ever wanted to duel your friend to death in order to get eaten by a worm-like creature and be declared the winner? Well, your very specific, masochistic fantasy is a reality with Nidhogg 2.

In this fighting game, you and a friend start off in the middle of a plain with the simple goal of reaching the other side. The catch is only one of you can reach the opposing side.

To win, you’ll need to dodge or defeat your opponent, taking advantage of weapons (daggers, throwing knives, & bows) or sliding your way past to make it to the next stage.

With each stage, your opponent will respawn in front of you, making it so that whoever is at the disadvantage to start is at least given a better shot at stopping the other player with each new stage.

While it may only be two players, the chaos that occurs in Nidhogg 2 certainly rivals Killer Queen Blacks’ hectic gameplay.

SpeedRunners

Whether you’re a kid or an adult, racing against your friend is always going to be simple, fun competition, especially in video game format.

SpeedRunners in particular takes everyone’s love of a good footrace and adds in weapons, obstacles, and an enclosing area, making for fast-paced disarray.

The game pits up to four players against each other in a race, as they’ll jump over barrels, freeze one another, and do anything they can to be the last one standing.

While it may take some getting used to at first, the quick, fluid gameplay makes for a blast to play with friends.

Ultimate Chicken Horse

Obstacles are always something any platformer is going to make players overcome, as it wouldn’t be much of a challenge without them. What if the players controlled the obstacles, though?

Ultimate Chicken Horse does just that, as four players must reach the end goal, avoiding the obstacles each one of them set as they go.

What obstacle you get and where they are placed is a combination of timing, skill, and a bit of luck.

Like Killer Queen Black, players will need to win rounds in order to win the overall game, with points being awarded a number of different things.

Finish first or successfully place a trap and you’ll be the Ultimate Chicken Horse in no time.

Starwhal

Killer Queen Black

Starwal is the culmination of countless competitive couch co-op games that have been created over the years, allowing players to live out their dream of becoming a Narwal.

Together, you and three friends must compete as these beautiful creatures, using your Narwhal horns to stab each other in the heart.

While it may not be the stuff of fairy tales, Starwhal’s frantic gameplay certainly is addictive.

With only a specific number of hearts each round, you’ll need to take out the competition while simultaneously avoiding getting hit yourself.

Games are quick, but with the right skill, Starwhal’s unique mechanics result in some amazing battles.
