Wooden utility poles are essentially the posts you’ve seen dotted around the world that look like telephone poles. We’ve included an image of one down below so you can get an idea of what you’re keeping an eye out for while playing Fortnite.
These can generally be found all around Fortnite’s map, but they do tend to pop up more frequently in specific areas more than others.
These poles can often be found right along the sides of roads. We found a bunch of them grouped together just north of Loot Lake that lined the road running north, as you can see in the image above.
Similarly, you can find these wooden utility poles lining the road through the desert biome in the southeast section of Fortnite’s map.

You may be wondering if you have to specifically destroy the wooden utility poles in Fortnite by using your pickaxe or with a weapon or vehicle.
