Fortnitemares has officially kicked off and players are already have three new challenges to complete and unlock some Halloween-themed cosmetics. One of these challenges requires players to “Travel 100 Meters on a Witch Broom.” The Witch Broom is actually quite hard to find, making this challenge more difficult than it needs to be. This Fortnite Witch Broom location guide will show you where to find them and get the challenge completed.
Where to Find Witch Brooms in Fortnite
Witch Brooms can be found all around Fortnite’s map, but they’re not found in chests or Quinjet drone drops. Instead, you’re looking out for large brown barrels found outside witch huts.
These witch huts can now be found all over the Fortnite map. We’ve marked two on the map below where you can easily find a witch broom.
- North of Lazy Lake – F5
- West of Salty Springs – C4
The Lazy Lake witch hut can be found just north of the named location in F5, near Gorgeous Gorge. You can reach the witch hut by following the path alongside the lake to the west of Lazy Lake.
The Salty Springs witch hut can be found just west of the named location. You’ll hear a witch’s cackle and see the telltale Jack-o-Lanterns and Halloween decorations surrounding it, too.
When you’re stood next to the barrel, you can either press the ‘Search’ option to pull a witch broom out, or break it with your harvester to have them fall out all over the floor.
Pick up the broom up and add it to your inventory, then use the right trigger to use it. This will see you fly up into the air before landing on the witch broom, now you can fly around and quickly rack up 100 meters by simply flying in a straight line.
Don’t come off the broom until you see the challenge complete in the top left-hand corner of your screen.
