What Are Fortnite Missions in Season 10?

Missions are Season 10’s addition to Fortnite’s Battle Pass, just as we’ve seen Pets, Wraps, and Back Bling etc. in previous seasons. According to the patch notes, “Missions are a series of thematic objectives that grant rewards.”

That doesn’t tell us a whole lot about what we’ll have to do for these missions, but they’re a slight evolution on the ‘Staged’ weekly challenges we’ve seen before. Essentially, Missions have a particular theme, such as the Rumble Royale Mission, which is focused primarily on the Team Rumble game mode.

The mission then tasks you with completing various challenges within the mode for different rewards. You can see how this works via the full list from Guille-Leaks below.

How to Start & Complete Rumble Royale & Road Trip Missions in Fortnite

Considering Fortnite Missions are essentially just a series of challenges you’ve likely seen in one form or another before, all you need to do is dive into either the Team Rumble game mode for the Rumble Royale Mission, or any other game mode for the Road Trip Mission and begin completing the challenges.

We’ll have plenty of guides to help you complete the Road Trip mission, so be sure to check back soon.

What Rewards You Get

Missions will grant Battle Stars, XP, and cosmetic items upon completion of a particular ‘challenge’ of each mission. For example, as shown in the image above, each time you complete yet another ‘challenge’ of the Rumble Royale Mission, you’ll unlock a reward (mostly).

That’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Missions in Season 10. For more tips, tricks, and information on the current season, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Season 10 guide wiki.
