Fortnite: How to Plant a Data Scraper in Chapter 3 Season 2

Just about no matter where you’ve dropped this new season in Fortnite you’ve seen the big airships hovering over the most important locations. Later in the questline you need to land on one of these. Here’s how to plant a data scraper in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

As with all quests this season, this one begins with the “Establish Data Uplink” objective that must be cleared before you get to the actual quest. This time you just need to visit any Seven outpost.

We chose the most northern point as it is unlikely you will get anyone dropping near you so you can do the start of this quest in peace.

How to Plant a Data Scraper in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

You will need to use the hologram audio log at the top of the nearby peak to begin the “Plant a Data Scraper at the tail of an IO airship” quest.

Your choice for locations with airships are:

• Command Canvern
• The Daily Bugle
• Coney Crossroads
• Tilted Towers
• Rocky Reels
• Condo Canyon

Choose one of these locations (it doesn’t matter which) and land on top of the airship.

As the quest says, you will want to head for the tail. It doesn’t mean that you need to get up on top of that fin, just head towards the base of it.
