Where the Comet Is Going to Destroy in Fortnite Battle Royale

Recommended Videos

It’s no secret that there’s an ominous-looking comet lurking in the skies above Fortnite Battle Royale’s map. Though it hasn’t done anything just yet, meteorites did begin raining down on the map in random games yesterday, suggesting the comet is going to crash into somewhere on the map soon enough. However, it may not be where everyone thinks it’s going to.

While theories and rumors have been doing the rounds of the internet for about a month now on how Tilted Towers is going to be destroyed in order to help improve the flow of the game, a recent tipster on Reddit claims an insider source has informed them otherwise.

According to the post, the comet is actually going to destroy Dusty Depot and not Tilted Towers. Considering Dusty Depot is a fairly barren and uninteresting landing spot, having it replaced with something else could help to improve the flow without removing the divisive Tilted Towers.

Though it’s easy to write off some apparent leaks, this one already has some credence to it. Posted on April 24, the post also mentioned that the Season 4 Battle Pass will be Superhero-themed. And look what got posted by the official Twitter account two days later.

Certainly looks like a superhero theme to us!

With it looking like the source predicted this correctly, the notion of Dusty Depot being destroyed by the comet in Fortnite Battle Royale should be taken a little more seriously. Though, it’s worth noting that nothing up until this point has pointed towards this being the case. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves.
