HOW TO PLAY FORTNITE BATTLE ROYALE DUOS

Recommended Videos

Fortnite Battle Royale is proving extremely popular, but its initial Early Access launch released as a lean package that supported solo gameplay only. Subsequent patches, however, have added the option to play in squads, and more recently, duos. Players can now invite friends to join them in games of either four-man or two-man teams, similar to other Battle Royale games such as PUBG.

In order to select the duos gameplay mode, simply boot Fortnite Battle Royale as normal, but at the gameplay menu, push Square (PS4) or X (Xbox One), or use the keypad to cycle through the available modes and select duo. From there, you have the option to either auto-fill your team with a random player, or you can invite friends that you have added via your PSN, Xbox Live, or your Epic Games account. To invite someone, select one of the empty squad slots next to your own avatar, click on it and scroll down your list of friends to send an invite to them. Once they have arrived in the lobby, you’ll both need to action the “Ready” command.

That’s it, you’re ready to play duos. Just remember to coordinate your jump out of the Battle Bus together!

That’s all the information you need to get started with Fortnite Battle Royale duos mode. For more useful tips and tricks, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
