The objectives, which will be available in game until 1pm ET on Dec. 20 are:

  • Winning Story – Win 3 Rivals matches using a Storyline player in your starting squad – Reward: 600 XP & Jumbo Premium Gold Pack
  • Passing Story – Assist a goal in 3 separate Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty using a Storyline player – Reward: 600 XP & Gold Players Pack
  • Playing Story – Play 8 Rivals matches with a Storyline Player in your starting squad – Reward: 600 XP & Jumbo Gold Pack

Group Reward: Prime Gold Players Pack & 600 XP

Thankfully, they are easier than the equivalents last season, not only because you need to do less and you have more time to complete them, most players will already have a Storyline player to use.

You don’t have to wait until you’ve unlocked the players at level 30 this season, such as Danilo and Oxlade-Chamberlain, but you can also use the Zaha, Tolisso, or Vazquez from Season 1.

They are the only players who count as Storyline players, with the Trossard and Politano Milestone players being League Players instead. The ones you get for hitting level 30 in a season are the only players who count for the Elite Storyline Seasons Objectives right now.

Thankfully, you’ll also be able to complete both the Playing Story and Winning Story objectives at the same time, as long as you win a few matches as you play your first eight.
