With the release of patch 5.3 for Final Fantasy XIV, there’s a lot of new content to look forward to. For starters, the Shadowbringers story arc finally comes to a conclusion, while the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse Alliance raid storyline continues, and A Realm Reborn gets a much-needed rework as well. Along with all these new additions, there are also a few new cosmetic items and emotes to pick up as well. Here’s how to get the Bee’s Knees dance emote in FFXIV.
Getting the Bee’s Knees Dance in FFXIV Patch 5.3
The Bee’s Knees is a new dance emote that you can get with the release of patch 5.3, and the good news is that if you’ve been keeping up with your Gold Saucer games and events, you should have enough MGP to purchase it straight away.
Head over to the Gold Saucer and speak with the Gold Saucer Attendant at the counter, choose the Prize Claim option, then purchase the item Ballroom Etiquette – The Bee’s Knees. Once you have it, select it from your inventory and use it, and the Bee’s Knees dance will automatically get added to your emote catalog. You can also drag the emote action to one of your hotbars so that you can click it and perform it easily wherever you are.
The one thing to note is that this Ballroom Etiquette item will cost you 80,000 MGP, which isn’t a whole ton of money if you’ve been playing regularly, but can be tough to grind out if you don’t frequent the Gold Saucer. You can earn MGP easily by playing games at the Gold Saucer or winning MGP cards by completing Khloe’s weekly Wondrous Tails journals.
Once you have enough, purchase it from the Gold Saucer Attendant NPC and you’re all good to go.
That’s all you need to know about how to get the Bee’s Knees dance in FFXIV. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
