This quest requires you to bring a Princess Trout fish to Sisipu, and is compulsory if you want to see the Fisher quest line to its conclusion.
Thankfully, actually getting a Princess Trout isn’t too tough; you just need the right bait, and you need to know where to look as well.
Fishing Bait and Locations
There are multiple areas across Eorzea where you can get a Princess Trout. The fish’s location is as follows:
Unlike other freshwater trout which make their habitat in swift-flowing rivers, the silver princess trout prefers the relative seclusion of inland lakes.

You can find the Princess Trout in the following locations:
- Middle La Noscea, Nym River, X: 17, Y: 14
- Middle La Noscea, Rogue River, X: 21, Y: 21
- Lower La Noscea, The Mourning Widow, X: 24, Y: 23
- Middle La Noscea, West Agelyss River, X: 20, Y: 17
The Moth Pupa and Crayfish Ball baits will work best for this fish, and can be bought from vendors in any of the three starting cities in Eorzea.
