Here’s everything you need to know about how to Investigate the Beams in Far Cry New Dawn (The Prophecy Puzzle Solution).

Among the many tasks that Far Cry New Dawn saddles players with taking care of, Figuring out how to investigate the beams for the Prophecy puzzle is one which may prove more of a challenge than players expected.

Presenting the player with a series of fractured cross symbol pieces they need to align with an amulet, Far Cry New Dawn’s Prophecy puzzle can be a bit obtuse. The solutions aren’t readily apparent, and as such can take a while to piece together.

That’s why we’ve done the leg work and worked out the solutions to each of the puzzles phases so that players can get back into the action of Far Cry New Dawn as soon as possible.

How to Investigate and Solve the First Beam Puzzle

After you’re pulled into the puzzle section, turn around and head towards the end of the dock. Once there, turn around. You’ll see fragments of a cross symbol on the right and a secluded section of dock to your left.

There’s also a mound of junk with an explosive barrel embedded in it, in front of the cross symbol fragments. Shoot the barrel to clear away the junk, then jump over to the secluded section of dock to the left.

From here, angle yourself until the majority of the cross symbol is aligned. Hold up the amulet to complete the cross and it will trigger as successfully viewed.

How to Investigate and Solve the Second Beam Puzzle in Far Cry New Dawn

The next beam marker will lead you to a windmill with some cross fragments on its panels. More cross fragments can be found inside a house below it, but they won’t line up properly with the windmill in its current position.

As such, you’ll need to rotate the windmill’s panels via a pulley in front of the house. Pull it until the cross fragments on the windmill’s panels are positioned so that the sole diagonal point is aimed up and to the right.

Once you’ve done this, head into the house and back into the corner immediately facing the entrance. Move the camera and align your view until most of the cross is complete, and then hold up the amulet to complete the cross. It should count as viewed after you do so.

How to Investigate and Solve the Third Beam Puzzle in Far Cry New Dawn

The third beam marker will lead you to a hill that leads upwards toward a tower. Cross fragments will be scattered along the hill with wreckage and junk blocking their view from the bottom of the hill.

Clear away the wreckage by shooting or kicking it until it breaks. Once you’ve cleared away all the wreckage, head back down the hill and continue moving backwards to the left until the majority of the cross fragments are aligned.

Once they are, hold up the amulet to complete the cross. This should trigger a new marker to appear that, once you reach it, will lead you toward Joseph’s Word and out of the puzzle illusion.

Hopefully this helped you figure out how to investigate the beams and solve the Prophecy puzzle in Far Cry New Dawn. For more tips, tricks and info on the game, check out our Far Cry New Dawn guide wiki.
