Far Cry 6 drops players into a huge open world that makes up the nation of Yara. As Dani tries to free the island from the dictatorship of Anton Castillo, they’ll need to confront a large number of enemies. Keeping track of all enemies in specific locations through tagging is an essential gameplay feature. Here’s how to use the phone camera and tag enemies in Far Cry 6.
Using the Phone Camera & Tagging Enemies in Far Cry 6
Press up on the D-Pad to use your phone camera at any time when exploring the world. You can then use R2 and L2 on PlayStation or RT and LT on Xbox to zoom in and out respectively.
Hover over an enemy when in this mode to tag them, and you’ll also be given some information on their strengths and weaknesses, which determines what kind of ammo you want to use against them, what strategies to go for, etc.
The tags made using the phone camera won’t fade away after making them, which means that you will be able to see enemies through walls for the duration of your stay in a location without having to tag them again.
You can also use the phone camera to place waypoints by pressing in the right stick on either console. This can help when planning a method of attack in certain areas.
