How to Get Resistance Points Fast in Far Cry 5

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 5 doesn’t follow the same progression system as the rest of the series or other open world games. Instead of going from place to place, meeting characters and accepting missions, you need to amass Resistance Points as you play.

Resistance Points are gained by doing activities in each region, such as liberating outposts and taking out enemies. The idea is that you earn those points to work towards having enough to face off against the boss of the region. As you earn more points, they’ll become more aware that their grip is loosening, and their defense tactics will change.

The fastest way to get them seems to be by liberating cultist outposts quickly. Instead of taking the enemies out slowly, one by one, you should quickly kill them, ensuring that they do not have the chance to kill the hostages. This will maximize the Resistance Points you get because you will be awarded them for rescuing the hostages and liberating the outposts. There may also be helpful intel in the camp for you to scavenge.

That’s all you need to know about getting Resistance Points fast. For more on the game, check out our wiki guide.
