Dreams: What the Download & Install Size Is

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Media Molecules’ Dreams has finally arrived on PS4, bringing an enormous suite of creative tools for players to craft their own game levels and worlds. On top of that, there’s also Art’s Dreams, a story mode for players to make their way through if creating isn’t really their thing. Here’s what the download and install size is for Dreams, in case you were wondering.

Dreams Install Size on PS4

The good news is that Dreams really doesn’t take up that much room. If you were playing the early access version of the game, you’ll need to download an 8.6GB update to unlock all of the features and content in the full game.

After completing this update, or if you just download the full game on release, you’ll find that the Dreams install size is 10.83GB. That’s great news for those who already have a jam-packed hard drive and were hoping they weren’t going to need to free up a ton of extra room.

It’s worth pointing out, however, that with future updates and any post-launch content that Media Molecule opts to bring to the game — including the PSVR compatibility — the Dreams install size could get even larger. Your PS4 will let you know when you need to make some space on your hard drive for a future update, though.

That’s everything you need to know regarding what Dreams’ download and install size is. For more tips and tricks, be sure to check out more of our guides on the game below.
