How to Get Early Access in Dirt Rally 2.0

It’s becoming more and more common for games to launch early with early access and Dirt Rally 2.0 joins the pantheon of games that have done this. Here’s how to get early access to Dirt Rally 2.0.

There’s been a lot of news lately of games releasing early to some players while others must wait for the actual release date, and while Codemasters’ game doesn’t lock its early access behind a subscription service (looking at you Anthem), it does require you to spend more money.

Dirt Rally 2.0 has a release date of Feb. 26, which is likely when most people will be playing it on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Simply buy the $59.99 edition (the standard edition) to have the game unlocked on Feb. 26.

If you’re anxious for this racing simulator, then perhaps the Deluxe Edition is what you need.

At $79.99, this edition will give you early access to the game beginning on Feb. 22. If you purchase the game on Steam, PSN, Xbox Marketplace, or anywhere else that has the Deluxe Edition available, you’ll be able to play the game starting this Friday on Feb. 22.

Depending on which edition of Dirt Rally 2.0 you preorder, you’ll receive some exclusive things as well.

In the Day One Edition ($59.99), you’ll receive a Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec along with early unlocks for the Fiat 131 Abarth Rally and Alpine Renault A110 1600 S.

In the Dirt Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition ($79.99), you’ll receive five early vehicle unlocks: Ford Escort Mk II, Lancia Stratos, Subaru Impreza 1995, AUDI Sport Quattro S1 E2, and the Ford Fiesta OMSE SuperCar Lite. You’ll also receive the first two seasons of post-launch DLC, each coming with three locations and five additional vehicles.

This edition of Dirt Rally 2.0 unlocks early and includes upgraded starter cars for My Team, in-game bonuses and high reward events, all available to you on Feb. 22.

If you’re after a physical edition of Dirt Rally 2.0, you sadly won’t be given any kind of early access to the game. You will, however, depending on your retailer, receive an exclusive steelbook case and the Opel Kadett C GT/E car.

The retailers that have these incentives available vary by region, so check with your local retailer to see what preorder bonuses are available to you.

That’s it for how to get early access to Dirt Rally 2.0. If you’re unsure if the game is the game for you, be sure to check out our review of it where we gave it a glowing score. For more information about the game and all of your favorite games, be sure to search through Twinfinite.
