Diablo 2: Resurrected is here and players are able to relive the glory days of Diablo 2 either on PC once again, or on their modern home console of choice. The game looks fantastic but it’s not any less harsh. If you’re here, you’re probably a little lost towards the end of Act 1 and are wondering how to get to the Monastery Catacombs in Diablo 2. Here’s the path you’ll need to take to get there.
How to Get to Monastery Catacombs Diablo 2
If you’re heading to the Monastery Catacombs for the first time, you’ll need to first head back to the Monastery gate, which is connected to the Tamoe Highlands (which we covered in more detail during our Monastery Barracks guide).
From there head to the Outer Cloister (you can use the waypoint of course if you have it already from previous quests). Instead of stopping in the Barracks, though, you’re going to continue to press onward until you reach the Jail.
Continue to fight your way through the hordes of minions until you reach the Inner Cloister. You’re getting close now.
Within the Inner Cloister you’ll eventually reach the Cathedral and yes, finally, in the Cathedral you’ll reach the Catacombs.
The Catacombs is where you’ll fight your first big boss of Diablo 2 and the mega boss of Act 1, the lesser evil and maiden of anguish, Andariel, so make sure you’re prepared for the fight to come. Consider using a town portal, repairing your armor, spending all your skill points, and anything else you can think of to make sure you’re ready to fight.
That’s all you need to know for how to get to the Monastery Catacombs in Diablo 2 for the final quest of Act 1. For more Diablo 2: Resurrected check out some of our most recent guides and articles down below.
