Is There Splitscreen Local Co-op Multiplayer in Detroit Become Human

Recommended Videos

Detroit Become Human is the most recent effort from Quantic Dream, the folks behind Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Known primarily for single-player narrative driven games, the new game follows a similar blueprint. You’ll follow a group of androids as they struggle with their role in a world dominated by humans. You’ll make lots of tough choices that will determine how the storyline plays out, and whether certain characters will make it to see your ending. With these games all being about making decisions, some players may be wondering if Detroit has splitscreen local co-op multiplayer on offer.

If you’re a fan of Quantic Dream games, you’re likely familiar with the fact that most of these games are single-player only. That said, if you’re here, you might be wondering if, this time around, there is an option to play Detroit Become Human in splitscreen local co-op multiplayer. Or perhaps this is your first time playing any of their games, and you’re also wondering whether it has multiplayer or not.

If you were looking forward to splitscreen local co-op multiplayer, then I have some unfortunate, but predictable news for you. Detroit Become Human is a single-player affair; there is no way to play multiplayer with other people at all, whether it’s splitscreen, local, co-op, or any other way you can think of. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
