Previously accessible exclusively to players who secure a Flawless Victory in the first Destiny’s limited-time special PvP playlist Trials of Osiris, The Lighthouse social space has changed to account for all activities and NPCs in Mercury. This also paved the way for a few cool Easter Eggs to be added, similar to the Tower’s Floor is Lava and The Farm’s Commander’s Blessing. So far, we have found one of the Lighthouse Secrets, and it involves finding the signs of Osiris.

The Lighthouse chest puzzle in Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris, which has a time limit once started, tasks players to examine five books with a glowing yellow-colored symbol. The books can only be examined in a certain order. After all, books have been examined, a conflux will appear, and interacting with this will deactivate a barrier blocking a chest. This chest contains a Legendary engram and three Mercury tokens.

Here’s the step-by-step process of completing the puzzle:

1. Go near Brother Vance and find the marked book. “Examine compelling book” to start the puzzle and the timer.
2. After completing the first step, turn behind and proceed to the bookcase at the far end. “Examine marked book” to complete the second step.
3. Turn to your right and keep walking near the portal entrance of The Lighthouse. The second marked book should be in the second set of bookcase past the portal. “Examine aged book” to complete the third step.
4. Turn to your left and keep walking towards where you found the second symbol. The fourth marked book is placed on a desk in front of the second marked book. “Examine curious book” to complete the fourth step.
5. Turn to your left and run past the third marked book and the Weapons Forge. The fifth book is located on the topmost bookcase past the Weapons Forge. You’ll need to jump on a bookcase to interact with this book. “Examine significant book” to complete the fifth step.
6. The conflux should now appear in The Lighthouse, and it’s quite easy to spot due to the bright white light it emits. If you’re having difficulty finding the conflux, simply make a 180 turn after examining the last book and run to where you found the second and fourth symbols. Interact with the conflux to decrypt the firewall.
7. The location of the chest should now be marked on your HUD. Simply open the chest to complete the puzzle and claim your rewards.
