The Story Mode in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles contains a ton of cutscenes and cinematic moments that happen outside of gameplay since it follows the entire first season of the anime. If you’d rather not watch these moments again in video game form, they can be skipped. Here’s how to skip cutscenes in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles.
How to Skip Cutscenes in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles
For those who have watched the anime or read the manga, you may want to skip past the less important conversations in the story. To do so, hold down Circle on PlayStation or B on Xbox until the circle in the bottom-right corner of the screen is full.
Some major scenes can’t be skipped, but those moments don’t happen too often, so you should be able to skip the majority of the ones that you don’t want to sit through. The game also contains Memory Fragments, which are just scenes taken straight from the anime that get narrated by certain characters from an outside perspective. These can also be skipped.
The majority of the dialogue and scenes remain unchanged in the game, so you won’t be missing out on anything new by skipping the more dialogue-heavy or less interesting parts of the plot if you just want to get to the next fight.
