Crash 4 marks the latest entry in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, and it doesn’t disappoint in terms of new challenges to overcome with N.Verted levels to clear, platinum relics to collect and much more. With this in mind though, you wouldn’t be blamed for asking yourself the question: Is there a difficulty trophy and achievement in Crash 4?
Fortunately, we’ve done the leg work and have the answer you’re looking for.
Is There a Difficulty Trophy and Achievement in Crash 4? Answered
To put it plainly, no, there isn’t a Trophy or Achievement tied to clearing Crash 4 on a certain difficulty setting.
Instead, there are a number of Trophies and Achievements tied to completing levels with the aforementioned challenges applied to them. These range from completing every level in a certain amount of time to finishing mirrored versions of levels, and make stages far more difficult to clear than they would be under normal circumstances.
You don’t have to choose to play through the entire game with these challenges applied to levels either. Instead, you can select when each challenge is applied to each level whenever you wish by returning to the level map, selecting a level and choosing which challenges you do or do not want applied while playing through it.
This can drastically cut down how much time you spend pursuing Trophies and Achievement during your time with the game, which could be a big plus if you’re looking to get in and out of the game as fast as possible.
That’s all there is to it really. Hopefully this cleared up whether or not Crash 4 has a difficulty-related Trophy and Achievement without too many headaches. For more on the game, check out some of our other guides on topics like how to start time trials and how to get every gem in the game.
