As in most action-RPGs, you’ll be able to equip your character with a number of different special abilities. These abilities are tied to Blood Codes, which are basically the equivalent of classes. You’ll start off with three Blood Codes, but there are many more to find. To do so, you’ll need to go look through Vestige Memories. What to Do With Vestige Fragments in Code Vein

As you may have guessed from the above, Vestige Fragments are used to create Vestige Memories.

Across the game, you’ll find Vestiges and Vestige fragments. In the story, you’ll go through Vestige memories and get new Blood Codes, but any fragments you find will need to be viewed separately.

To do this talk to Io in the Home Base and select Vestiges. You’ll see all of the options you’ve collected pop up, and in order to restore some memories, you’ll need multiple fragments.

Once you’ve resorted these memories you’ll then be able to explore them and unlock more Blood Codes. These will give you stronger abilities to use in combat and create a more diverse range of different character builds.
