The funny thing about legendary weapons in the Borderlands series is once you have a hoard of them, you never want to use base weaponry. Sure, there are those guns you might hang onto for sentimental reasons, but there are some incredibly insane special abilities tied to some of these legendary weapons that you almost can’t live without once you experience. This is one such case that can be found in Bounty of Blood. Here’s How to get the Robin’s Call Legendary Shotgun in Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood including stats and perks.
How to Get the Robin’s Call Legendary Shotgun in Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood
Keep in mind the best way to get any legendary is having Mayhem Mode turned on to the highest level you and your gear can currently handle. Also can’t hurt to go in with something strong like The Monarch.
The Robin’s Call is a legendary that is hard to explain how to obtain, as it doesn’t belong to any one enemy and can drop from anywhere. But there are good places to run through in hopes.
Bounty of Blood has a large amount of chests spread over the length of the DLC, which is how the Robin’s Call below was found. Enemies in the DLC seemed reluctant to drop new legendary weapons and instead dropped plenty from the base game.
Bloodsun Canyon is probably the best place to farm, plenty of enemies with a high number of badasses spawning regularly.
Stats and Perks
The Robin’s Call is an around average damage shotgun, but the special ability is what takes it over the top to a must-have for any FL4K Crit build arsenal.
Any critical hit with the Robin’s Call returns one shot to the magazine, coupling this with the skill Leave no Trace that already has that same ability, and you have yourself a practically infinite ammo shotgun.
Add in the fact that the Robin’s Call even includes the Jakobs’ ability to ricochet shots at nearby enemies on critical hit, and this shotgun becomes excellent at crowd control even while focusing on only one enemy.
To summarize finding the Robin’s Call
- Put your game to the highest Mayhem Level you can currently manage, this shotgun doesn’t have a set enemy that drops it so you need the drop rate increase.
- Enter Bloodsun Canyon and farm the enemies within, the extra help from Mayhem Mode should make more badass enemies spawn.
That’s all you need for help in How to Get the Robin’s Call Legendary Shotgun in Borderlands 3 Bounty of Blood.
