How to Take Photos & Use Photo Mode in Anno 1800
Anno 1800 is another standout title in the esteemed real-time city-building sim series. It swaps the futuristic settings of the previous few entries and goes back to its old school routes, but there are plenty of new features to keep things interesting beyond the exceptional graphics. Here’s how to take photos and use the photo mode in Anno 1800.
During Anno 1800’s campaign, you might have come across a quest that asks you to take a photo. This is a bit of a confusing one because the quest isn’t actually asking you to take a screenshot or use the postcard mode. There’s something more specific you’ll need to do.
Namely, that there’s actually a photo mode button on the UI that you need to click. There’s not actually a hotkey listed for the photo mode that we’ve found.
Even once you’ve located the correct button, though, you won’t be able to actually take a snap until the game has deemed that you’ve lined up your camera properly.
For example, if you’ve been asked to, say, take a photo of Isabel Sarmentos’ harbor for the newspaper, you must make sure your target is lined up properly.
You’ll know when you’ve got the right shot because the UI will change (black arrows will appear). You’re then free to take your photo.
That’s all the information we have about how to take photos and use the photo mode in Anno 1800. For more guides and tips on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.
