FromSoftware games have always featured spellcasting, but Elden Ring is on another level with its huge array of different magic to wield. To really maximize the damage they inflict, though, aspiring sorcerers will want to make sure they have the best staffs. So, here’s a list of all Elden Ring staff locations we’ve found so far.

  • Astrologer’s Staff – This is the starting staff for the Astrologer class. It can otherwise be purchased from the Nomadic Merchant in Liurnia of the Lakes for 800 runes
  • Demi-Human Queen Staff – The Demi Human Queen Staff is found in the Weeping Peninsula region of the map, which is directly south of Limgrave. Detailed guide here.
  • Meteorite Staff – Located in Caelid, east of Limgrave. Specifically, it’s found in the Street of Sage Ruins in the Aeonian Lake Swamp. Detailed guide here.
  • Glintstone Staff – Farm from Noble Sorcerers at Caria Manor
  • Academy Glintstone Staff – Dropped from NPC Thop, either after killing him or by handing over the Academy Glintstone Key. You must then visit the Schoolhouse Classroom site of grace of Raya Lucaria Academy where you will find him dead and can loot his corpse.
  • Carian Regal Sceptar – After defeating Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon at the Raya Lucaria Academy, exchange it for the Remembrance of The Full Moon Queen’s power with Enia at Roundtable Hold.
  • Carian Glintblade staff – It can be found on the top floor of Highway Lookout Tower in the eastern part of Liurnia of the Lakes.
  • The Digger’s Staff – Dropped by two different enemy types in the Raya Luceria Crystal Tunnel (Liurnia of the Lakes): Sorcerer Miners, and Stonediggers.
  • Crystal Staff – Found in Academy Crystal Cave behind a fog wall just before the boss fight. After passing through, you will need to locate the illusory rock wall and pass through it.
  • Staff of Loss – Found on a corpse leaning over a balcony, in a building to the west of Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Caelid.
  • Staff of the Guilty – Dropped by red-robed, skeletal cultists at Fort Laiedd, Mt. Gelmir (western edge).
  • Prince of Death’s staff – After beating the two Valiant Gargoyles in Siofra Aqueduct, rest inside the coffin. You will then find yourself at Deeproot Depths. From here, head across the tree root bridge and past the wasps, which will eventually take you to a very shallow lake. Use Torrent to climb up the nearby buildings and onto the roots that will take you up to a stone tower structure where the staff is.
  • Albinauric Staff – Volcano Manor near the Guest Hall grace site; go up the nearby stairs and outside, then up a ladder, and into a room that has both the staff and an Omenkiller you will likely need to defeat.
