Life Is Strange 2: Episode 2

We’ve had to wait longer than many hoped for the next chapter of Life Is Strange, but Dontnod’s second story continued last month.

Episode 2 saw Daniel attempt to understand his newfound powers and any fan of the Life Is Strange universe might recognise another a character who makes a guest appearance.

It’s a great continuation of the sequel’s story and sets up some exciting possibilities for the rest of the year. Also, as the rest of the Life Is Strange franchise has done, episode 2 offers an easy set of trophies to earn.

You’ll get one trophy for finishing the episode, another for beginning a drawing at one of the two spots, and the rest are for the episode’s optional collectibles.

We have a guide on how to get all of them, so if you’re on the hunt for the trophies, follow that along as you play and you’ll be closer to that platinum in just a couple of hours.

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2, best Steam games of january 2019

More than 20 years since it originally released, Resident Evil 2 returned on modern platforms, looking and feeling better than many would have imagined. As either Leon or Claire, you explore the Raccoon City Police Station in search of answers and a way to escape.

Thankfully, though, since the game is still so single-player and story focused, it’s quite limited in what it can ask you to do for trophies. At somewhere around the 5-7 hour mark for a first playthrough, too, completing one full run doesn’t take too long.

Playing through the game once will see you get around 35% of the trophies (more if you use a guide for a couple of the tricker or collectible based ones) and that’ll increase further if you do a second run and play on Standard difficulty or higher.

Of course, some of the trophies that you need for the platinum will require real skill, such as the ones that ask you to complete the game without using a recovery item, but you’ll get a decent chunk of the trophies in less than ten hours paying.

The Walking Dead – The Final Season: Episode 3

The Walking Dead The Final Season Broken Toys

Late last year, it seemed almost certain that we’d seen the end of Telltale’s The Walking Dead and that we’d never see the conclusion of Clementine’s story. Skybound came to the rescue, though, and the series’ final season continued in January.

For trophy hunters as well, the release of episode 3 meant the return of easy trophy lists, although this season’s are not as simple as previous seasons’.

While you’ll still get trophies for completing each of the three acts, you need to do additional things and find collectibles throughout the episode. Things like petting Rosie or picking up important items will see you earn some of the others.

Some of the extra trophies are a little different and their descriptions are a little vague, so you might need to mess around and interact with everything in the world. If you want to just do everything in one run through, though, you can check out a guide.

You won’t be able to get the platinum yet, but getting all of the episode three trophies will see you much closer to it for when the final episode releases.
