Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered

Original Price: $49.99

PS Plus Sale Price: $29.99

If you’re a fan of gorgeous fantasy JRPG’s and the Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away or Howl’s Moving Castle, then you will probably adore Ni no Kuni.

It’s a wonderful blend of Japanese animation and fairy tale setting that excels in delivering a whimsical story that deals with a young boy looking for the cure to save his mother.

Oliver meets some strange allies along the way and this is simply one of the most epic adventures that you will ever go on. Plus, this remastered version is absolutely superb and deserves way more attention.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of the Tomb Raider, ps plus double discounts sale, ps4, psn

Original Price: $59.99

PS Plus Sale Price: $8.99

Crystal Dynamics’ reboot of the acclaimed Tomb Raider series started off with a bang and this sequel to that banger, Rise of the Tomb Raider, continued to shine and show Lara Croft in a new light.

Tomb Raider’s combat, narrative, and puzzle-solving is mostly excellent and is on par with other third-person action games such as Uncharted.

The game’s presentation and cinematics are truly AAA and it stands the test of time as one of the best-looking games of this generation.

Control

Control, ps plus sale price

Original Price: $59.99

PS Plus Sale Price: $41.99

Control was a bit devise with critics when it was released but there’s no denying that the creepy atmosphere of this title is worth checking out if you’re a fan of Remedy’s past works such as Alan Wake and Quantum Break.

The combat is improvisational, the setting is quite interesting and intriguing, and the entire experience is just super trippy.

There’s also some excellent replay here if you like collecting objects, completing odd sidequests, and partaking in very difficult combat challenges.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience

Metal Gear Solid V the definitive experience, ps plus sales

Original Price: $19.99

PS Plus Sale Price: $9.99

Metal Gear Solid V was the last MGS game that Hideo Kojima worked on before departing Konami to go work on his own game, Death Stranding, and this huge entry in the series is tactical gameplay at its finest.

It may not have had the crazy and insane narrative like the MGS games before it but the more open-ended missions structure and polish really made this game something special.

This definitive experience comes with the base game as well as Ground Zeroes, a bite-sized prequel game, and an online experience for those looking for a competitive multiplayer experience.

Resident Evil Series

Resident Evil, re7, biohazard

If you like horror games even a little bit and have yet to jump into Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise, well, now is the perfect time because pretty much every single mainline game is on sale right now on the PSN store.

Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Revelations; the best of the bunch are all here and can be purchased for like less than $15 for the most part.

You can grab the entire collection and see what all of the hubbub is about and while Halloween is over, there’s never a bad time to shoot some zombies and cower in a corner due to fear.
