It’s been a long time coming, but the Diablo 4 open beta has finally arrived, and fans are chomping at the bit to join in on the fun and get a taster of all the changes Blizzard Entertainment has implemented in its latest rendition of its iconic dungeon crawler RPG. With excitement reaching a fever pitch, you may have downloaded the beta and you may now be sat waiting in a queue. For those wondering how long it takes to login to the Diablo 4 beta, here’s everything you need to know.
How Long Are the Diablo 4 Beta Queue Times?
Update: As of about 12:30 p.m. EST, it seems that the line for the Diablo 4 beta has remained long but is less of a hassle than the past two days. While the original wait time was about an hour or two, players are now reporting that they’re experiencing wait times closer to half an hour at most. This may change as we get closer to the end of the closed beta period, but the change in accessibility should be negligible.
This follows a recent post by the development team and active efforts on their part to address the bottlenecking of players trying to enter the Beta. They have continued to work on a number of issues related to the high volume of players taking part in the test, and continue to actively monitor the flow of incoming players to the Beta.
From our own personal experience, even though we’d waited in the queue for 10 minutes, the Blizzard launcher made us restart our queue time as we were hit with a “Trouble Finding Servers Error” or “Error 300022.” With that said, some of us have managed to get in after only a few minutes of waiting. From what we can gather, this means you’ll be waiting for anywhere between 5 minutes and a half hour or so before you can get into the Diablo 4 open beta.
Should you fall on the longer side of this spectrum, don’t give up hope. If you’re currently in the Diablo 4 beta queue, we’d suggest waiting it out and being patient.
How to Speed Up the Queue Time in the Diablo 4 Beta
While we haven’t got a guaranteed way of speeding up the Diablo 4 beta queue time on your end, we’ve heard reports that restarting the game and re-joining the queue may give you an advantage in getting into the open beta a little faster.
That said, we’d say being persistent and waiting the allotted time may prove effective as well. Whatever the case may be, don’t worry, as with a little bit of luck, you’ll soon get into the Diablo 4 beta!
So, there you have it. We hope this helped to shed some light on how long it takes to login to the Diablo 4 beta. For more, here’s what the max level cap is and how many co-op players the latest game accommodates.
