Where to Go for Beneath the Great Machine – Quest Guide

Beneath the Great Machine is overall an extremely easy quest if you know where you’re supposed to go. However, if you’re lost, then it doesn’t matter how simple it is, does it?

First things first, complete the introductory mission for Season of the Splicer. If you get disconnected midway, you can resume it by finding its node on Europa and starting over.

Once the mission is complete you’ll be sent to the Fallen encampment for a brief cutscene with Osiris, Mithrax, and Lakshami-2. Once this is over, you’ll be kicked back out to orbit and are free to go where you want.

The quest will demand that you go to the new Fallen wing of the HELM. The HELM is now located on its own node directly above the Traveler on your director.

Go to the HELM and when you arrive, all you need to do is go straight downstairs to your left and you’ll arrive in a new purple-looking room with a big Servitor in it. Speak to the servitor and the Beneath the Great Machine quest is all done.

That’s all you need to know for where to go to complete the Beneath the Great Machine quest in Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer. For more Year 4 Destiny 2 coverage, check out our Year 4 wiki guide along with our review of Beyond Light.
