To establish a settlement in England, Eivor and his clan will need plenty of resources. Some of the biggest stacks are hauled up in large towns and monasteries ripe for the pillaging. Here’s everything you need to know about how to raid in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Put simply, Raids are almost like mini combat quests in which you and your crew pillage a town to loot huge supplies of both Supplies and Raw Materials. As you battle through a settlement, you’ll come across two or three buildings that house the big gold chests.
You’ll typically need to force open a door to get into the building (sometimes you’re asked to smash a window or simply break down a flimsy door with your melee attack) and you’ll need your crew’s help.
Once you’ve got inside and have grabbed the loot, you can use the supplies to upgrade and expand your own settlement.
How to Raid in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
When approaching a settlement in your Longboat, you’ll be able to spot yellow circles by the shore. As you approach, you’ll be prompted to press triangle if you’re on PlayStation (Y if you’re playing on Xbox) to start the Raid.
Then you’ll need to follow the process we mentioned above, battling through the settlement and finding the locked buildings. Once you come across the building, you’ll need to hold triangle/Y again to open it up with a crewmate’s help.
Do note, however, that you shouldn’t simply attempt to Raid every settlement you see in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Each one will have a recommended Power Level requirement, and you shouldn’t attempt to Raid it if you’re significantly below it, as it’ll be impossibly hard.
