Today Firaxis and 2K Games released a new video of Sid Meier’s Civilization VI focusing on the update coming to the game this month.
We get to see new features like two new world wonders (the BioSphere and the Statue of Zeus), the new highland-type maps, and the new “Dramatic Ages” gameplay mode, which makes golden ages really rewarding and dark ages really punishing.
We also get a tease of the new civilizations, Byzantium and Gaul, but we’ll have to wait for their full reveal.
We’ll likely get another video showcasing them in detail before the release of the DLC.
You can check out the video below and see if it tempts you to play the new Dramatic Ages mode.
If you want to learn more, you can take a look at the announcement of the New Frontier Pass which also includes Gran Colombia, the Maya, and Ethiopia.
Three more DLC packages are coming in November, January 2021, and March 2021.
They will be available simultaneously on all platforms including PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.Â
To be specific, this month’s package will be release on September 24.
