As you’d expect if you’ve played a Resident Evil game before, the survival mechanics are a huge part of 3 Remake. Throughout, you’ll need to manage your resources and ensure you don’t waste ammo on zombies or anything else.

You’ll often be short on ammo when you need it most and will need to do everything you can to get more. Thankfully, there are a few ways to do so, provided you’ve not exhausted the world’s supplies already.

How to Get More Ammo in Resident Evil 3 Remake

The first and most simple way to get some, for any weapon, is to search the world. You’ll often find boxes of pistol or shotgun ammo just sitting on desks or in the corners of rooms. Just find them and pick them up.

Alternatively, you can also combine gunpowder to make ammo yourself. Gunpowder is also found just lying around the world and you need to go into your inventory, select one of them, and then choose to combine it with another, whether it be the same type or different.

The different combinations get you different types of ammo. Two lots of gunpowder will make Handgun ammo; normal gunpowder and high-grade gunpowder will make Shotgun shells, and two lots of high-grade gunpowder will make you Magnum ammo.

You can also keep your gunpowder on you for when you need it most, or keep it in a box for a later date.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get more ammo in Resident Evil 3 Remake. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide.
