Sons of the Forest Announced at The Game Awards; Sequel to The Forest

In a surprise during The Game Awards, Sons of the Forest, a sequel to survival horror game The Forest has been announced.

The Forest was a game that starts with a plane crash where the player sees their son being taken away by some strange humanoid person. From here, the player must cut down trees with their handy infinite durability axe to build shelter and find components for gear to try to track down their son.

It seems Sons of the Forest might follow a similar path, as the trailer shows a military unit crashing in their helicopter with a suggestion there are demons to be hunted.

The trailer deals out a few very ghoulish, haunting monsters, but we barely get a full grasp on what this new forest might be like. However, we get a good look at one certain lady demon with many arms doing an interpretive dance. Nothing is more scary than interpretive dance.
