Fortnite Sorana Pickaxe Location: Where to Find Hidden Pickaxe (Chaos Rising)

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1’s secret skin was finally revealed to be Sorana last week when the ‘E’ from the F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E letters was finally dropped onto the map. Now that they’re out of the way, with the release of the Chaos Rising loading screen this week, players can track down cosmetic items for the Sorana skin, just as we originally did with the Prisoner all those seasons ago. Here’s where to find the Sorana pickaxe in Fortnite.

Finding Sorana Pickaxe in Fortnite

As we noted above, your clue to the whereabouts of the pickaxe can be found in the Chaos Rising loading screen, unlocked by completing a number of the challenges in this week’s mission that goes by the same name.

As we noted in our separate guide about the Sorana back bling, the coordinates shown in the loading screen appear to be mixed up for each of these cosmetics.

Those for the pickaxe take you to the back bling, and vice versa. As such, we want to head to the coordinates G7, G8, H7, H8 to track this one down.

This will take you right into the southeast corner of Fortnite’s map. Just east of Misty Meadows, you’ll find a large snowy mountain. This is where you want to head to.

Specifically, you want to make your way over to the east side of it. Here, you’ll find a number of flags leading down the hill from the top. You want to make your way to this flag and oxygen tank lying on the mountain. They’re the third ones from the top.

The pickaxe itself will be propped up against this flag and oxygen tank here, so simply interact with it and it’ll be added to your Locker.
