After taking another look at the new heroine Medina Orthinanos, ewe get a presentation of the SAOAL battle system.

It includes two types of battles, against monsters and humanoids.

Kirito and companion characters can be swapped at will, and even when you’re not controlling them you can give them instructions.

Said instructions include skills or actions, and when they use a skill at the same time as the controlled character, a skillchain occurs.

There are three elements to the battle system, normal attacks, skills, and sacred arts.

Normal attacks can be performed repeatedly and can fill the gauges for the skills, which are special attacks with special effects which can trigger skillchains.

Sacred arts have various effects including attributes like fire and more.

We also learn that there is a full day/night cycle which continues in real-time.

You can check out all the screenshots below.
