Sometimes, as great as exploring worlds are in video games, you’re in a hurry and just want to get to the next main objective or checkpoint. Here’s everything you need to know on how to fast travel in Oninaki.

How to Fast Travel in Oninaki

Fast traveling is done by accessing the Save Points scattered throughout Oninaki’s world. These are large obelisks or towers that, once you get close to, will surround you in a healing sphere.

Once you’ve been healed up by this magical sphere, all you need to do is press X on PS4 or A on Nintendo Switch to access the Save Point menu.

Now you have to use the d-pad to cycle through the menus until you reach ‘Fast Travel.’ You’ll then be free to select any of the other Save Points you’ve visited in Oninaki to travel to. Any you haven’t you can’t fast travel to.

Unlocking Fast Travel in Oninaki

You won’t be able to begin fast traveling as soon as you begin your adventure, though. This system will only unlock after you’ve completed the first mission and opening prologue section of the game.

When you’re given a bit more freedom to embark on your quest as a Watcher, you’ll then be free to use the system however you wish.

Though, it’s worth keeping in mind you can only travel to Save Points you’ve already visited in the game.

  1. Complete the Opening Mission/ Prologue

    Doing so will unlock fast travel in Oninaki.

  2. Visit and interact with a Save Point tower.

  3. Use the d-pad to select the ‘Fast Travel’ option.
