Today Microsoft announced that they will host a new “Inside Xbox” livestream the day before Gamescom, on August 19.
The broadcast will kick-off in earnest at 5:oo p.m. CEST, 11:oo a.m. ET, or 8:oo a.m PT depending on where you live, and apparently there is plenty on the menu.
We’re going to see the reveal of the Horde Mode in Gears 5, on top of “nearly a dozen never-before-seen trailers and have big news and reveals on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Wasteland 3, Empire of Sin, Greedfall, The Surge 2, Vigor, Metro Exodus, Blair Witch, Xbox Game Pass, X019, new accessories, and much, much more.”
That’s quite promising.
On top of the announcement we also got a teaser trailer, which you can watch below. The stream will be available on Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, so you’ll have plenty of choices.
If you’re interested in seeing more of Gears 5, we got plenty of reveals at Microsoft’s E3 press briefing including a cinematic trailer, the introduction of the Escape mode, and the reveal of the Terminator Dark Fate pack.
Speaking of Escape, we also got more videos showcasing its diverse characters, while a cinematic cutscene from the story introduced Fahz.
On the other hand, we also saw another trailer introducing the Escalation mode and one showcasing the boot camp.
Gears 5Â is coming on September 10 for Xbox One and PC. Those who have a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will get to play the game four days early.
