Longtime StarCraft Player & Personality Geoff ‘iNcontroL’ Robinson Passes Away at 33

Yesterday, the official Twitter of StarCraft commentator and former pro, Geoff ‘iNcontroL’ Robinson announced that the popular StarCraft 2 personality had passed away at the age of 33.

The passing was described as unexpected by the person who had made the announcement; they are wishing for privacy as his family sorts out what happened and makes arrangements.

Robinson has been a fixture in the StarCraft community for many years going back to StarCraft: Brood War, and had played StarCraft 2 professionally for Evil Geniuses before eventually transitioning into casting modern major StarCraft 2 WCS events.

This came without warning, and Robinson was expected to appear in future StarCraft 2 WCS circuit events throughout the year. His Twitter account has suggested donations to Southern California Bulldog Rescue as a way to honor his memory

Robinson was beloved by many in the StarCraft community and Twinfinite wishes its condolences to his friends and family.
