Is Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Coming to 3DS? Answered
We feel as if it’s been years that people have been talking about the 3DS finally being dead, especially since the Nintendo Switch came out. But now that Nintendo has actually stopped releasing first-party titles for the handheld only system, it seems that their newest games, including Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, will not be coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
Ever since Nintendo first announced this remake of Link’s Awakening earlier this year during a Nintendo Direct, the only confirmed console was the Switch itself and not the 3DS.
In fact, Nintendo has not said one word about this title ever coming to the 3DS and it’s very unlikely that it ever will. It’s unfortunate that 3DS users won’t be able to check out this action-RPG, but you can still play the original Game Boy game on the eShop if you would like to.
That’s all you need to know about whether Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is coming to the 3DS.
