The game is in development at Tango Gameworks and it’s an action adventure game in which players will fight against a supernatural evil.

It was introduced on stage by Tango Gameworks boss Shinji Mikami Himself, and by Creative Director Ikumi Nakamura.

In the game, people are mysteriously vanishing in Tokyo, and the players have to find out why. We’ll meet spirits, some peaceful, some hostile. This isn’t the usual survival horror Mikami-san and his team are known for.

“GhostWire: Tokyo, a new action-adventure game brought to you by the team at Tango Gameworks.

After strange disappearances hit Tokyo’s population, it’s up to you to uncover the source and purge the city of a strange, new evil. Armed with your own mysterious spectral abilities, you will face down the occult, unravel conspiracy theories and experience urban legends like never before. Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it.”

At the moment, no platforms or release windows have been announced for Ghostwire Tokyo. We’ll have to wait for additional information on that.
