Draugen PS4 Release Date

Draugen’s Nordic setting and its incorporation of film noir is a compelling premise, and it has understandably piqued the interest of console players. But while PC players can already enjoy this intriguing new walking simulator, those on consoles will have to wait a little while longer. Here’s what the Draugen PS4 release date is if you’re unsure.

Dubbed Fjord Noir, Draugen’s mashup of genres has spawned its own pseudo-genre, which all adds rather nicely the mystery of its unusual narrative and location.

But if you are wanting to experience the adventure on PS4, we’re sorry to tell you that there’s no confirmed release date for the game on Sony hardware as yet.

Draugen is certainly coming to the platform, that much is sure. But as for the exact date, all we have is a launch window, and it is a pretty big one. The game is listed as coming to PS4 in 2019, so that could mean any time between now and the end of the year.

Based on nothing more than our own intuition, we would imagine Draugen won’t launch during the busy fall window, just to avoid competition with other big-name titles popular on consoles at that time.

Perhaps developer Red Thread Games has its sights set on a late summer release for consoles? We can’t be sure, but that would be our guess.
