The update adds five new cars, more events to the GT League single player feature, new Scapes, and a new leaderboard in Sport Mode.

The five new cars are the Porsche 962 C ’88 (Gr.1), the Renault R8 Gordini ’66 (Gr.X), the Audi TT Coupé 3.2 quattro ’03 (N200), the Honda Fit Hybrid ’14 (N100), and the glorious Toyota Sprinter Trueno 3door 1600GT APEX (AE86) ’83 (N100). If you’re wondering, that’s Takumi Fujiwara’s “Hachi-Roku” hero car from the Initial D anime and manga, which makes this the best update, ever.

The new GT League events are as follows

  • Beginner League
2 new rounds added to the ‘Compétition de France’.
  • Amateur League
2 new rounds added to the ‘Tourist Trophy’.
  • Professional League
2 new rounds added to the ‘Group 1 Cup’.

The new location for the Scapes feature is “New Zealand – Embrace the natural beauty of Oceania,” while fans of Sport Mode get a Global Manufacturer Ranking leaderboard.

Polyphony Digital and Sony Interactive Entertainment have been very active in updating the game, with monthly additions since its release on PS4 one year and a half ago.
